Exclusively in Austin: Ford's Car Sharing Program

Ford has launched it's new Ford Credit Link pilot program in Austin!

The program, which launched in February, allows a group of 3 to 6 Texas residents to co-sign a 2-year lease on a new Ford vehicle. The target users for program are co-workers, roommates, or large families, who may not need a vehicle at all times, but would like access to their own when necessary.

Ford has even created a mobile app that will link to the vehicle so lease member can track schedules, payments, and maintenance in an attempt to mitigate the predictable problems that may arise in sharing a car.

The pilot program is available at 3 area dealerships: Covert Ford, Leif Johnson Ford, and Maxwell Ford.
